Scottie Scheffler delivered a commanding performance at Royal Portrush to claim his first Open title and fourth major. The world No 1 took home $3.1 million, earning top honors from the championship’s $17 million purse. His victory places him just shy of the $100 million career-earnings milestone.

Harris English finished in second place, pocketing $1.759 million. Chris Gotterup, who earned his first DP World Tour title earlier this month, secured $1.128 million for third. Notable fourth-place earners Matt Fitzpatrick, Haotong Li, and Wyndham Clark each received $730,667.

Tied for seventh, Rory McIlroy, Robert MacIntyre, and Xander Schauffele earned $451,833 each.
