Sky Sports has announced an exclusive two-year partnership with TGL, the innovative team golf league co-founded by golfing legends Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
This collaboration will cover the 2025 and 2026 seasons, providing viewers in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy with live coverage of every match, including semi-finals and finals.
TGL is set to launch on January 8, 2025, at the state-of-the-art SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The league combines cutting-edge golf technology with traditional gameplay, featuring six teams of professional golfers competing in a unique format.
Each match will last two hours and will take place across 15 specially designed holes that blend virtual elements with real-life action, creating an engaging experience for fans.
Jason Wessely, the director of Sky Sports Golf, expressed enthusiasm about the new format: “TGL is such an exciting and innovative new format that both existing and new golf fans can enjoy.”
He emphasized Sky Sports’ commitment to delivering an entertaining viewing experience and highlighted the network’s long-standing reputation as the home of golf.

The league will showcase a diverse roster of talent from around the globe. Each team consists of notable players:
- Atlanta Drive GC: Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover, Billy Horschel, Justin Thomas
- Boston Common Golf: Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott
- Jupiter Links Golf Club: Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner, Tiger Woods
- Los Angeles Golf Club: Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose
- New York Golf Club: Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young
- The Bay Golf Club: Ludvig Åberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry
This diverse lineup promises to bring excitement to each match as teams battle for supremacy throughout the season.
