Hey everyone, I wanted to share an update regarding my upcoming schedule. Unfortunately, I've had to withdraw from the LPGA events in Korea and Malaysia due to a minor neck injury I sustained while practicing.

I’m disappointed to miss these events and am especially sorry to my…
Nelly Korda, the current women’s world golf rankings leader, has pulled out of two more events in South Korea and Malaysia in the LPGA. The Canada-born 25-year-old made the announcement on Monday on social media, taking a break following an injury to her neck that she sustained during practice. “Sadly, I have had to pull out from the LPGA events in Korea and Malaysia as I injured my neck while practicing,” Nelly Korda tweeted on X (formerly twitter). He built a rapport with her and then told her he could no longer have her at the event and that he understood that she was meant to perform but she has to recover.
Nelly Korda’s Busy Season Takes a Pause
The year has been quite challenging for Korda, and her decision to take a break temporarily is coming after a year where she has had to juggle between victories and losses. More recently, Korda contested the Kroger Queen City Championship in late September where finished T5. Before the break in the season, Korda had won six LPGA titles in her first eight events, which made her one of world’s best golfers. However, her season has since chilled as she has not claimed a win since mid-May this year.
This is not the first time Korda has had to pull out of a tournament this year. In June, she withdrew from an event due to an unfortunate incident involving a dog bite, marking a tumultuous year for the young star.
Nelly Korda did not mention when she plans to return to competition, but her absence will be felt during the LPGA’s Asian swing, which includes the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea and the Maybank Championship in Malaysia. Both events are significant stops as the LPGA tour continues through Asia before concluding the season in Hawaii and Florida.
As the golf world awaits her return, fans are hopeful for Korda’s swift recovery and eventual comeback on the tour.
