Nelly Korda continued her remarkable 2026 season with a dominant wire-to-wire victory at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba, securing her 18th LPGA Tour title and her second consecutive win.

The world No. 1 closed with a final-round 3-under 69 at El Camaleon Golf Course to finish at 17-under par, four shots ahead of Arpichaya Yubol. Yu Liu finished third at 12-under.

The victory comes just one week after Nelly Korda captured The Chevron Championship, giving her back-to-back wins and reinforcing her status as the player to beat on the LPGA Tour.

“I just made two mistakes all week,” Korda said after her victory. “With how tight the fairways are and how hard this golf course is, I played some really good golf.”

Strong Finish Secures Comfortable Victory

Korda took full control of the tournament during Sunday’s front nine.

An eagle at the par-5 fifth, followed by consecutive birdies at the sixth and seventh, pushed her to 18-under and effectively ended any hopes of a late challenge from the chasing pack.

“On my front nine, I had my A-game,” Korda said. “On the back nine, I wasn’t hitting it close. Golf humbled me on the last hole.”

Her bogey on the 18th was only her second dropped shot of the entire tournament, highlighting just how consistent she was across all four rounds.

Another Historic Milestone

The win makes Nelly Korda the youngest American since Nancy Lopez in 1980 to reach 18 LPGA Tour victories.

She also moved to 23 LPGA Hall of Fame points, just four away from automatic induction.

Korda has now finished second or better in all six of her starts this season, matching a feat last achieved by Annika Sorenstam in 2001.

With momentum continuing to build, Nelly Korda looks firmly on course for another historic season.
