The Bank of Utah Championship at Black Desert Resort not only delivered thrilling golf but also one of the richest purses of the FedExCup Fall series, featuring a total prize fund of $6 million.

Michael Brennan Tops the Earnings List

Tournament winner Michael Brennan walked away with the top prize of $1.08 million after finishing at 22-under 262. The 23-year-old’s win marked a breakthrough moment, but his massive payout underscored just how lucrative this event has become for up-and-coming players.

Runner-Up and Top Finishers’ Payouts

Rico Hoey, who finished second at 18-under, earned $654,000 and 300 FedExCup points for his consistent play across all four rounds. Defending champion Matt McCarty finished in a tie for third at 16-under, alongside Pierceson Coody, David Ford, Thorbjørn Olesen, Ben Silverman, and Justin Lower. Each player earned $260,250 and 118.33 FedExCup points.

Mid-Leaderboard Earnings

Just outside the top 10, Max Homa finished T9 at 15-under, securing $169,500 and 77.5 FedExCup points. Billy Horschel, climbing eight spots in the final round with a 5-under 69, finished T11 at 14-under and earned $133,500.

Meanwhile, Jesper Svensson’s impressive 9-under 63 on Sunday propelled him up 43 spots to finish T15 at 13-under, good for $97,500, the best round and one of the biggest pay jumps of the day.

FedExCup Fall Implications

With lucrative payouts and valuable FedExCup points on the line, this event played a crucial role in shaping player status heading into 2026. Those inside the top 125 will retain full TOUR membership, while others continue fighting for exemption through remaining fall events.

The Bank of Utah Championship proved that every stroke matters — not just for the leaderboard but for financial rewards and career momentum heading into next season.
